OCC Computers

If you are using an OCC laptop, you won’t need to make any changes to your computer in order to use Mobile.occ.gov. All software and browser configurations should be already set.

Non-OCC Computers

If you are using a non-OCC computer, a few changes to the browser may be required in order for the Mobile.occ.gov to properly work. You must configure your browser to enable trusted sites, and change your settings to permanently allow pop-ups on the site. To make these changes, follow these steps in your Internet Explorer browser.

  1. Configure your browser to enable trusted sites.
  2. Change your settings to allow popups.
  3. Install Citrix.

Adding Mobile.occ.gov to Trusted Sites

  1. In Internet Explorer click Tools > Internet Options.


  2. Click the Security Tab.
  3. Click Trusted Sites.


  4. Move the slider for trusted sites down to 'Low' security.


  5. Click "Sites".
  6. Type https://mobile.occ.gov and click "Add".


  7. If the website is accessed using an HTTP connection, ensure that the checkbox for "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" is cleared.
  8. Click "Close", then click "OK".


Disabling pop-up Blockers


Click Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Turn off Pop-up Blocker.

Enabling Pop-ups

You may need to disable the pop-up blocker on your browser to use Mobile.occ.gov or install Citrix.

  1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Pop-up Blocker Settings. Note: You may need to "Turn on Pop-up Blocker" before accessing the Settings.

  2. Type https://mobile.occ.gov and click "Add".


  3. Click "Close".

Access

RSA Tokens

An RSA token is a third party authentication device that is used to remotely access OCC systems, such as Mobile.occ.gov, VPN, and Webmail. It is required when the user is NOT on the OCC Network.


How do I get an RSA token?

An RSA token is issued to all new OCC network users as part of their standard accounts. If you do not have an RSA Token, call customer support at 1-800-788-7002 or create a ticket at Get IT Help.

Using an RSA Token

When using your RSA token, you will also use a 4-digit PIN created when you obtained your RSA token.

Once your PIN is created, you can use your 4-digit PIN and RSA token to remotely access Mobile.occ.gov.

Reporting a Lost or Stolen Token

If your RSA token is lost or stolen, immediately call customer support at 1-800-788-7002 or create a ticket at Get IT Help.

Log into Mobile.occ.gov

Logging into Mobile.occ.gov on the OCC network requires only your network username and password. Your OCC machine is already set up to use Mobile.occ.gov; all you need is a connection to the Internet.

To Log in from an OCC Computer:

  1. Open a browser and type mobile.occ.gov into the URL bar in order to reach the login page.
  2. Log in using your network username and password.
  3. Enter your OCC user ID in the User Name field.
  4. Enter your OCC network password in the Password field.

To Log in from a Non-OCC Computer:

If you are away from the OCC network using a non-OCC computer, signing into Mobile.occ.gov will also require a registered RSA token in addition to your network username and password.

  1. Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.
  2. Open any supported browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
  3. Type Mobile.occ.gov into the URL field of the browser.
  4. Log in.
    • Enter your OCC user ID in the User Name field.
    • Enter your OCC network password in the Password field.
    • Enter your 4-digit PIN and the 6 digits displayed on the front of your RSA token in the Passcode field.
  5. If necessary, download and install the Citrix Client software.

Logging Off

Logging off Mobile.occ.gov shuts down your mobile session and closes all virtual desktops that may have opened.

To Log Off:

  1. Save all work in all desktops to network drives.
  2. Close virtual desktop windows.
  3. Click on the "Log Off" button on your Homepage OR close the browser which was used to login to Mobile.occ.gov.

Forgot Username or Password

Call customer support at 1-800-788-7002 or create a ticket at Get IT Help.

If you are locked out of your network account after three unsuccessful login attempts, you will need to provide the ITS Service Desk with two forms of identification in order to reset your password:

  1. Your supervisor’s name.
  2. Last eight digits of your OCC SmartID card. The full 20-digit number is on the back of your card.

 

Contractors will need to provide the name of their contracting officer's representative [COR] or the name of their contracting officer's technical representative [COTR].

Installation

Installing Citrix

Citrix will need to be installed for you to access the virtual desktops and applications available on Mobile.occ.gov.

  1. Go to Mobile.occ.gov in your browser and log in. If you need Citrix, you will be prompted by the system.
  2. If you are not prompted to install Citrix, follow these instructions to enable popups on your browser.
  3. Click the "Download and install the Citrix client software" to download and launch the client install.
  4. Click "Run" to begin the installation.


  5. The Citrix client is downloaded to your computer.
  6. The installation runs.
  7. When the installation is complete, the system will let you know the installation was successful.
  8. Click "Close". You will be redirected to the main page of Mobile.occ.gov where you can launch desktops and applications.
